Marketing - Entry Level
MAI is a high technology environmental laboratory looking for someone to handle our inside sales. You will be responsible for providing client pricing and addressing bid requests and to do this you will need to learn our laboratory operations and the environmental industry. You will be trained by our sales team, as well as self-train by interacting with our chemistry, R&D, and sample reception departments.
Qualifications:
- Very good computer skills. Word, Excel and Outlook are our main office softwares, but you will need to become familiar with our custom Laboratory software, LIMS.
- Organized, practical, meticulous attention to detail, excellent intelligence and memory, strong work ethic, reliable, multi-tasking, and ability to work well with others are a few of the necessary traits for this job.
- You must like to learn. This is a very challenging setting where all of us, even with 30 years experience and college degrees, are still struggling to keep up with the flood of new knowledge that comes our way every day.
- Minimum High school diploma but higher education is a strong plus.
Salary, Benefits, Growth Potential and Work Environment:
- Salary is negotiable depending on experience and education, but $25/hr minimum to start
